draped in Christmas lights
and our first lovely snow in two years.

About Me

- I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. In fact, I loved the “art room” during my school days so much that I grew up to be an art teacher. I received a Masters Degree from the College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. Which makes me a BEARCAT Fan! I went on to spend 32.7 years in public school art education, the last 21 years in a middle school art room. My current works of art include bead embellished art quilts, figurative art in cloth, mostly Mermaids, elaborate clothing and accessories. My art dolls have been published in Soft Dolls and Animals July 2004 Quilting Arts Magazine Summer 2003 and Summer 2005 Art Doll Quarterly Winter 2007 Doll Crafter and Costuming March and May 2007 I am an active member of the Contemporary Quilt and Fiber Artists, the Weavers Guild of Cincinnati and I have been a member of River City Figurative Artists' Guild for eight years.
