Tools for Getting Through Winter

I am beginning to wonder when the day will come
that something other than the "village salt truck"
will be the sound that wakes me up in the morning.
Outlook for today: Falling Snow/well below freezing temps! AGAIN
Today I will focus on the colors of last summers flowers. . . . .
AND FRESH BAKED COOKIES . . . . . and sunny thoughts while working in the sutdio!

A Trip to Maine and Keeping the Memories

Fabric Journals and Memory Books
2011 will hold another trip to my favorite state of Maine.
One of my favorite ways to preserve memories form a trip is to create a fabric book to celebrate highlights of the journey.
In this post you may glance through the pages of a previous trip to Maine. This book is constructed of quilted pages
created from photo transfers and collages of fabric.
The book depicts a Fall Maine trip and reflects the rich colors of that season.
The up coming 2011 book will Celebrate the Maine Lupine.
Enjoy this book cover to cover!

The End!
